The Health Canada has approved the drug Adempas (riociguat) for the treatment of a severe, progressive and life-threatening condition of the heart and lungs, chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) in adult patients with inoperable, or persistent and recurrent CTEPH after surgery.
