Teva’s drug for treating neutropenia approved in EU - drugdiscovery.com


Teva got EU market authorization for the drug Lonquex (lipegfilgrastim) , which is used for reduction of the duration of neutropenia and the incidence of febrile neutropenia in patients undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. Lonquex will compete in the marketplace with Amgen’s Neulasta (pegfilgrastim) and like its rival is dosed as a single subcutaneous injection once per chemotherapy cycle.
